The Cystic
Fibrosis Foundation
The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, the official philanthropy of the Sorority since 1958, is the recipient of funds raised by chapters to support research to find a cure for CF and to improve the quality of life for the 30,000 children and young adults with disease. In 1992 scientists described the gene that, when mutated, causes CF; however, a cure for CF has not yet been found. In appreciation of the Sorority¹s fundraising efforts, the CFF named a research fellowship in honour of Delta Phi Epsilon.
