The National Association of Anorexia Nervosa and Associated Disorders (ANAD) The Edith
Barash Stern Fund, established in honour of our past President, supports
philanthropic efforts as chosen by Grand Chapter at Convention. By tradition,
the interests of our young women are served, and since 1985, The National
Association of Anorexia Nervosa and Associated Disorders (ANAD) has
been an additional recipient of our fund raising efforts. ANAD is a
national organization dedicated to alleviating problems of anorexia
and other eating disorders. Its methods include education, newsletters,
counselling, self-help groups, and providing funds for research. Delta
Phi Epsilon is the first international sorority to pledge regular support
to an organization concerned with the effects of eating disorders. For
more information, please visit ANAD's
website. |
